Which Traeger Grill Is Best For You?

Who and What are Traeger Grills?
Traeger was founded in 1985 and sell a range of wood pellet grills that are becoming increasingly popular. They uniquely sell barbecues that offer an indirect heat, meaning that the whole BBQ is one temperature rather than direct heat from charcoal that is hotter by the fire. The effects of the smoke bring out the flavours of the food and add extra taste.
The grills use WiFire technology which allows you to control the grill from your phone even when you aren’t at home. You can use the Traeger app to find and schedule recipes to your grill, so you won’t be short of inspiration. To find recipes online tailored to using your Traeger, they have a dedicated section on their website to help you get started or try something new, click here to see the recipe page.

How do they work?
You can change the amount of smoke which smoulders the pellets more or less to give you your preferred amount of smoky taste.
It also uses ‘keep warm’ technology so that you don’t have to keep an eye on the remaining food whilst you’re eating.
Each Traeger model boasts a 6 in 1 functional grill:
Grill, smoke, bake, roast, braise and BBQ.
Their key features to owning a Traeger grill include taste, convenience, versatility, and performance.
It has the ability to solve both gas and charcoal issues by matching the flavour without risk of overcooking in areas which a charcoal grill can do or leaving out the smoky taste which a gas grill can do.
Its simplicity means that you don’t have to constantly watch over the food, with a meat probe and ability to set a time and temperature you can set it and leave it.
